Her training is in organizational psychology and small business, and she is the author of numerous articles on organizational and individual effectiveness, and business sustainability. Jagtar has an extensive background in strategy development and acquisition execution with a focus on technology companies. He joined Blackbaud in 2014 as the leader of corporate financial planning and analysis and investment strategy and has also led Blackbaud’s investor relations program.
Prior to joining Blackbaud, Jagtar was a finance and strategy executive at Xerox Corporation where he held a number of key roles including Vice President, Finance for their $7.5 billion office division and $3 billion indirect channels business, Vice President, Acquisition Operations (responsible for global acquisition integration activities), Director, Corporate Strategy and Director, Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to Xerox, he was an investment principal with the Washington, DC based venture capital firm Core Capital Partners and GE Equity, the private equity arm of the General Electric Company. Previously, Jagtar was a practicing engineer with the Westinghouse Electric Company and is a patent holder.
Jagtar holds a BS in engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member and chairs the finance committee for the Charleston Youth Development Center, a nonprofit devoted to helping disadvantaged youth in the greater Charleston area.

In June 2006, Michael left his job as a pharmaceutical executive to begin his entrepreneurial journey. He licensed nanotechnology from Clemson University and founded Selah Technologies to develop tools to help doctors see the margins of cancer during surgery. In 2009, Michael sold Selah Technologies to Lab21, a private British diagnostics firm, and stayed on to run Lab21’s US operations. In this role, Michael Led Lab21’s acquisition of Engencore, a Columbia SC based sequencing business. In 2012, Michael led a management buyout of Lab21’s US operations to form Selah Genomics and served as Chairman and CEO. In April 2014, a publically traded British firm, EKF Diagnostics, acquired Selah Genomics and retained Michael as CEO. Michael led a second management buyout of Selah Genomics in December 2015. In October 2016, Michael closed Selah Genomics and founded Selah Partners, a business consulting firm.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Josh Davis
Director of Research, NeuroLeadership Institute
Dr. Josh Davis is the Director of Research and Lead Professor for the NeuroLeadership Institute. He guides the Institute’s work in translating basic science research for business and leadership use, and drives strategy for new research content. He lectures frequently both for the NeuroLeadership Institute classes, and at conferences and organizational events worldwide.
He received his bachelor’s from Brown University, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. His career began in engineering, from which he transitioned to academic teaching and research about the mind and brain. He has received funding from the National Science Foundation, and has taught at New York University, Columbia University, and Barnard College.
His written work on management and productivity has appeared in Harvard Business Review, Business Insider, Fast Company, Huffington Post, strategy+business, Training + Development, People & Strategy, the NeuroLeadership Journal (which he co-edits), Psychology Today, and others. He is the author of the book Two Awesome Hours: Sciencebased Strategies to Harness Your Best Time and Get Your Most Important Work Done.
